As per our chat discussions of the last 2 weeks, the market now appears to be running on all cylinders and in gear to the upside. Tuesday's and Wednesday's pause in the action has allowed many indices to snapback to or toward their EMA breakout areas, so the following (initial) allocation switches would seem to be prudent at this time:

20% long the Russell 2000 via UWM.... .23% dividend (growth play)
10% long the utility sector via XLU... 4.31% dividend (value play)
10% long the consumer stapes via XLP... 2.77% dividend (value play)
10% long the industrial sector via XLI... 2.36 dividend (value play)
10% long the materials sector via XLB... 1.92% dividend (value play)

This will leave me with a 40% cash position.

Orders will be placed at 15:30 eastern and posted later to provide fairness.

Updates and changes to these initial switches will be made when warranted.

Executions as follows:

UWM @ 29.69
XLU @ 31.00
XLP @27.27
XLI @30.23
XLB @31.83

I also added a 10% position in XLK... 2.77% dividend @ 22.20

This now leaves me 30% in cash.

With today's breakout above the June highs, I am adding:

10% long the Dow via DDM at 45.63...1.35% dividend

This now leaves me at 20% cash.

Due to the improving internals, I'm adding a precious metals stock to the portfolio:

10% long IAG at 17.83... .30% dividend (growth play)

This now leaves me at 10% cash.

Total portfolio value up 1% since inception.

Because of  triggering our selling parameters mentioned in Thursday's chat, within the hour, I will be selling off the portfolio.

I will post the final numbers once all is sorted.

Final sales as follows:

DDM @ 41.77 - down 8.5%
IAG @ 17.91 - up .5%
UWM@ 25.50 - down 14.1% (ouch)
XLB @ 31.21 - down 1.95%
XLI @ 28.91 - down 4.4%
XLK @ 21.27 - down 4.2%
XLP @ 26.66 - down 2.2%
XLU @ 30.30 - down 2.2%

Total loss for this allocation: down 4.7%

Probably the poorest allocation in quite some time...it happens...onward.

Oh yea...now that I'm out...the market can go right ahead and bottom.
