Open TRIN was discussed in the Tuesday chat room, here are a couple charts, NYSE and NASDAQ open TRIN to provide a little historical perspective.  Post is being done over lunch so minimal comments.

NYSE: Interpolated Wednesday numbers as of 1 PM EDT, and despite the price/breadth debacle thus far today, the NYSE open TRIN is around 1.08, not yet to historical extremes.

The NASDAQ Open TRIN from early 2001 (price scaling for COMPQ difficult across 2000 prices).  This open TRIN variant is in the territory of oversold extremes, but not yet to the levels of August 2004.
