Technology and insurance stocks lead the new 52-week high list today, which is fairly short. Tallies so far today for new highs vs lows are 78-51 (NYSE) and 70-29 (Nasdaq)... Sectors with good representation on the new high list today include Internet/Technology (AMZN, DGIN, ELOY, FDRY, IVIL, NUAN, NWRE, QCOM, SCMR, SFA, WEBM), Semi/Semi Equipment (ASYT, MFLX, PLXS, SIGM, STAK), Railroad (CSX, NSC, RAIL, UNP), Retail (GES, GYMB, ZUMZ), Metals (RT, TIE), Insurance (MET, MFC, OCAS, PGR, PL, SAFC, TWGP, USIH), Medical Devices (NMTI, OSUR), Hotels/Lodging (CHH, FHR, SVL).

Express Scripts guides FY06 above consensus (ESRX) 79.89 -0.85: Co says it expects 2006 EPS of $3.10-$3.22, which includes $0.10 in stock option expense, not clear if comparable to Reuters consensus of $2.99, but either way co is guiding above consensus. Co says "Our positive outlook for 2006 reflects the strength of our core business and the success of our business model."
