From the Weekly Breadth Review...chart updated through last Friday:

"The weakest data continues to be seen in anything having to do with the precious metals complex with the Precious Metals advance/decline line remaining under extreme downside pressure though we do see that the XAU advance/decline line is attempting to put this same line of negative influence behind it. Looking "down under" and we also see that the Aussie advance/decline line continues to pick up speed to the downside and leading prices in the Old Ordinaries Index in this same direction. When we take this information into consideration, along with the weakness we continue see in Canada's TSX Venture Index (see cumulative charts), this would continue to suggest that there is still some unfinished downside business still yet to be seen in the precious metals themselves over the next several weeks with the focus of an August bottom."
